Hawlik — Ten Illustrated Explainer Films
Ten short films turning technical product, cultivation, laboratory and sustainability information into clear illustrated visual sequences.
Created in 2021 for Hawlik Gesundheitsprodukte GmbH, the project covered visual development, storyboarding, illustration, production and animation. For the English versions I also translated the scripts and narrated the films.

The Assignment
One visual system across ten different subjects
In 2021 Hawlik Gesundheitsprodukte GmbH commissioned me to produce ten short explainer films covering mushroom cultivation, laboratory analysis, residue monitoring, product formats, purity, sustainability, specialist knowledge and the company’s affiliate program.
The supplied scripts were technical and process-driven. My job was to read each one as a visual sequence: decide what needed to be shown, break the information into scenes, develop the storyboards and visual metaphors, and keep the imagery synchronized with the narration.
I developed a clean line-based illustration language with selective watercolor-style color and carried the films through production and animation. For the English editions I additionally translated the source scripts and recorded the narration myself.
