I create hand-drawn business illustration, explainer visuals and visual storytelling for brands, publishers, NGOs, institutions and agencies. My work ranges from advertising and editorial illustration to comics, character and mascot design, mascot systems and hand-drawn explainer videos, always with a focus on clarity, tone and professional delivery.

Based in the south of France and working internationally in English, French and German, I collaborate with organisations that need ideas, processes and messages communicated clearly, memorably and with a distinct visual voice.

With more than 35 years of professional experience, I have worked with clients including Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, Dräger, RITZENHOFF, Henkel, seele, and publishers including The New Yorker, MAD Magazine and NZZ am Sonntag. I was also the first Google Doodles artist.

My practice ranges from editorial illustration and business illustration to comics, character and mascot design, and explainer visuals and hand-drawn animation. The formats vary, but the aim is consistent: to clarify information and give ideas a memorable visual form.

Alongside my studio practice, I teach Illustration, Visual Arts and Image Analysis within the 3D Animation & VFX Master’s programme at ESMA Montpellier (École Supérieure des Métiers Artistiques), where the focus is on visual storytelling, composition and narrative structure.
