I’m pleased to share that I am once again participating in the annual “Gezeichnet” exhibition in Bern, Switzerland — a prestigious national showcase for editorial illustration and press cartoons. This year, five of my original works, published in Nebelspalter, are featured, marking my return to the exhibition as a Swiss cartoonist and illustrator.
The Vernissage will be held on Thursday, 14 December 2023, beginning with a talk at the Yehudi Menuhin Forum, followed by an exhibition viewing and reception at the Museum für Kommunikation in Bern. The evening includes live political commentary, satire, and conversations with some of Switzerland’s leading cartoonists.
Notable guests include SRF Arena moderator Sandro Brotz, joined by political figures and live satirical interventions by caricaturists Caroline Rutz and Carlo Schneider. It’s a rare opportunity to meet artists shaping Swiss political commentary through visual storytelling.

“Gezeichnet” is widely regarded as the definitive retrospective of the year in Swiss political cartooning. The 2023 edition features over 50 professional cartoonists, illustrators, and caricaturists, offering a cross-section of editorial voices and satirical perspectives drawn from Swiss print and digital media.
I am honored to be featured alongside such accomplished peers. My contribution this year includes press drawings addressing contemporary political and social themes — a continuation of my long-running collaboration with Nebelspalter and a reflection of my practice as a Swiss cartoonist, comic artist, and editorial illustrator.
