Dräger Global – Infection Prevention Posters and Animated Visuals
As part of a global initiative on Infection Prevention and Control, Dräger Global — a German-based leader in medical and safety technology — commissioned a visual storytelling series featuring four large-format comic-style posters and accompanying animated explainer videos. Designed without text or narration, the campaign delivers universal clarity for a global healthcare audience.

Inspired by the visual language of classic American comic books and Roy Lichtenstein’s pop art, the illustrations feature expressive lines, halftone dots, and stylized onomatopoeia. This nostalgic aesthetic is used to deliver contemporary messages about hygiene, safety, and infection control in hospital environments.
Each poster reveals a dramatic transformation — from familiar 1950s domestic or workshop scenes into cutting-edge medical settings — demonstrating Dräger’s infection prevention technologies. The corresponding short videos use motion graphics such as parallax movement, zoom effects, object fades, and synchronized sound to animate the scenes while retaining their wordless clarity.

- Creative Direction & Storyboarding – Concept development, narrative layout, and sequential panel design
- Illustration – High-resolution comic-style artwork using halftone and vintage ink techniques
- Motion Graphics – Animated adaptations with parallax motion, effects, and full audio mix
- Language-Free Format – No text, captions, or voiceover required
Each visual concept addresses a distinct facet of infection prevention:
- From Kitchen Chaos to Clinical Cleanliness – From kitchen mess to modern hospital hygiene
- The Power of Proper Cleaning – Then and Now – Domestic cleaning evolves into professional sterilization
- Classic Car Shine vs. Hospital Sterilization – Precision in car polishing mirrors infection control standards
- From Grease and Grit to Surgical Precision – A mechanic’s world transforms into a sterile surgical suite

These illustrated posters and motion videos were developed in parallel to ensure visual and narrative consistency across print and digital formats. Their universal accessibility, free of text or dialogue, ensures cross-cultural comprehension without localization.
