From the First Google Doodles to Contemporary Illustration Work
I am an illustrator, cartoonist and character designer with more than 30 years of international practice. My career began with the creation of the very first Google Doodles and has since grown to include editorial work, character design, branding illustration, visual storytelling and hand-drawn explainer projects for clients across Europe and the US.
Based in the south of France, I work with agencies, publishers, institutions and businesses of all sizes — in English, German and French. My focus is on clear ideas, solid visual thinking and a professional, reliable production process, whether the brief comes from a local company near Montpellier or a global brand in New York. About Me
Trusted by Global Brands, Institutions and Independent Businesses
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with a broad mix of clients: international companies such as Google, Coca-Cola and Daimler-Benz, as well as NGOs, non-profits, regional organisations and individual entrepreneurs.
Regardless of scale, each project receives the same level of care — from early concept work to finished artwork delivered in clean, production-ready formats. Clients List and Creative Partners

Solving Problems Through Visual Storytelling
Every illustration project begins with a communication problem that needs to be made understandable. My work focuses on shaping information so it becomes easy to follow, relevant to the audience, and visually coherent.
Often that means clarifying how something works, helping a brand show a friendly human presence, or finding a visual approach that functions without language. In other cases, the task is to design a character or visual system that gives an organisation a recognisable identity.
You’ll find several examples on my Case Studies page: from whiteboard explainers for NGOs to small-business campaigns and projects for international brands. The goal is always the same: making complex content accessible through clear illustration and visual storytelling.
Storytelling with Impact: “The Science of Kindness”
“The Science of Kindness” is a whiteboard explainer I produced from start to finish – from storyboard and character design to hand-drawn timelapse sequences, motion graphics and final animation. Commissioned by a UK non-profit for an anti-bullying initiative in British schools, it focuses on a simple but demanding theme: empathy.
Beyond the cause, which I support fully, the film is a good example of how I approach this kind of work: taking a complex emotional subject and turning it into a clear, accessible visual story that can be understood quickly by a wide audience.
