The Power of Comic Strips

Comic strips can communicate concepts and ideas to audiences of all ages and completely transcend languages. They can be used to give friendly reminders, offer tips, and provide educational material. For example, Coca-Cola assigned me to create wordless comic strips to remind people to recycle cans which were printed directly on the cans. These strips can also be used for internal purposes such as employee training and skill development, corporate training and executive briefings, or to enhance presentations and PowerPoint slides. They are also a wonderful media for e-learning or educational material.

Drawing Videos

I am frequently called upon to create drawings for presentations and explainer videos or advertising videos or education videos.

My style of drawing videos and explainer videos differs from the vast majority of video productions because they are actual drawings which unfold, drawn by an actual artist who knows how to draw. The appearance can vary in different illustration styles, we can use color, we can use painterly brush strokes, pen, or pencil sketches. It is an actual work of art unfolding. The intrigue also lies in what unfolds first and what unfolds next.

Top Source – Wine Label Design

Wine label and logo design for two exciting new Washington state wines from TOP SOURCE©. One is a Walla Walla Valley Syrah and the other a Columbia Valley red wine. I had the pleasure of tasting both of them, and they are just gorgeous.

Fun fact: With just over 1,000 wineries, 400+ grape growers, and 60,000+ acres of wine grapes, Washington State is the 2nd largest wine producing state in the U.S.
